Advanced Dental Technology – Phoenix, AZ
Dentistry Evolved
Simply put, if there is an instrument or device that will elevate the level of our dentistry and/or make the patient experience better, then we probably already have it. Dr. Rodda is constantly investing in advanced dental technology in Phoenix because he understands that in order to deliver the best care and service, our dental office constantly has to evolve. Thanks to his mindset, you can trust you’re only receiving the best whenever you walk through our doors.
CBCT Scanner
Our CBCT scanner doesn’t take a single X-ray that shows a few teeth, but rather it captures several images and then pieces them together to create a fully 3D model that shows both rows of teeth, your jaws, and many other oral structures. This can help establish a baseline at your first appointment, lead to more accurate diagnoses, and allow for more personalized and precise treatment planning.
Soft Tissue Laser
Our Picasso Laser allows Dr. Rodda to perform precise gum disease treatment as well as provide esthetic gum lifts using a method that is so gentle that the patient will barely feel anything in the chair. It’s able to quickly remove infected tissue and refine the gumline while reducing bleeding and post-treatment soreness to the point that they practically don’t exist.
Intraoral Camera
Our intraoral camera will literally give you a whole new perspective when it comes to your smile. We can use it to obtain close-up images of your teeth and gums we can then go over with you on a 50-inch screen. Rather than saying you have a cavity and need treatment, we can show it to you and better explain why. This approach not only helps us see better during exams, but it also makes the dental process more transparent to give you peace of mind.
Digital Dental X-Rays
Our digital dental X-rays not only emit 80-90% less radiation compared to traditional ones, but they also produce much sharper images. This makes it easier for our team to make more accurate diagnoses, and even better, we can show you your images just seconds after capturing them. This allows us to go over them with you and ensure you’re always on the same page as our team concerning your oral health.
CT-Guided Dental Implant Placement
Dr. Rodda always uses advanced 3D imaging of a patient’s mouth and jawbone to determine the perfect location and angle of their dental implants. Then, this same technology can give him real-time guidance during the procedure, which allows him to place a dental implant with extreme precision. This leads to a higher quality result and better chance of long-term success while allowing Dr. Rodda to work very efficiently.
DryShield
The DryShield is a small mouthpiece attached to a suction device, and it makes sure that saliva and the tongue stay out of whatever area of the mouth Dr. Rodda is focusing on. This enables him to work more quickly, as he won’t have to take breaks to remove saliva, and lowers the risk of cross-contamination or the patient accidentally swallowing any debris.
In-Chair Entertainment
All of our treatment rooms have flat-screen TVs on the ceiling, meaning patients can cue up a show or movie and basically space out during their appointment so it flies by. Multiple streaming services are available, so you can catch up on your favorites or finally check out that one thing your friend has been telling you about for months.
Hot Towels & Aromatherapy
We take patient comfort very seriously, which is why when you step into our dental office, the first smell you’ll notice is freshly brewed coffee in our lounge-like reception area. In the back, a gentle lavender scent will help you stay calm and relaxed, and we’ll even give you a soothing hot towel when you’re finished. Here, you’ll leave each appointment feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to take on the day.
